Wild Encounters, Deluxe edition by David Yarrow

A collection of unparalleled nature photography spanning seven continents, by one of the worlds foremost photographers.

Capturing the splendour and very soul of what remains wild and free in our world through incredibly intimate, close enough to touch portraits, Wild Encounters chronicles legendary photographer David Yarrows photographic exploits in the field.

Driven by a passion for sharing and preserving the Earth’s last great wild cultures and species, Yarrow is as much a conservationist as a photographer and artist. His work has transcended wildlife photography, and is now collected and shown as fine art in some of the most famed galleries around the world. Yarrow goes Pole-to-Pole, continent-to-continent, mountain to tundra to primordial jungle, inviting us to truly connect with a subject that we mistakenly think we have seen before. Yarrow takes the familiar – lions, elephants, tigers, polar bears – and makes them new again by creating iconic images that deliberately connect with us at a highly emotional level.

This Deluxe version of Wild Encounters is a limited edition of 500 and represents a triumph for esteemed publishers Rizzoli. The book comes with a signed David Yarrow print, additional images inside and a beautiful sleeve / cover.

Cempedak is a private island escape, just 2.5 hours by boat from Singapore and 12km off the south-east coast of Bintan. Cempedak feels a world away from Singapore. This carefully protected pocket of the South China Sea is home to pristine coral reefs where angelfish, clownfish and stingray thrive. A morning at a racing stable in New Market

Watch the morning gallops and tour the yard at Pegasus Stables in New Market

Newmarket’s enduring monument to Fred Archer, greatest and most tragic of all Victorian Jockeys, is Pegasus Stables, formerly known as Falmouth Lodge, where James Fanshawe has trained since 1990. Since 1990 James Fanshawe has sent out many Group 1, 2 and 3 winners as well as two Champion Hurdle Winners that you can see from The Roll of Honour Page.

James and Jacko Fanshawe have always been immensely proud of the history and the association that Pegasus Stables has with Fred Archer. They still feel he is very much part of the yard and their son Tom born in 1997 has, as his second name, Frederick in recognition of arguably the greatest jockey that ever lived. James sets high standards and asks himself if the great jockey were alive now, would he want to ride the horses that currently fill boxes he built. Every box at Pegasus is now in excellent condition and owners can rest assured that their horses are stabled and trained in the best possible environment.

Save the Rhino blue T-Shirt signed by Eliud Kipchoge

Take home our signature London Marathon team Tshirt signed by the world's fastest marathon runner, Eliud Kipchoge.

London Marathon has been central to Save the Rhino International fundraising for almost two decades. In April 2018 Eliud Kipchoge ran in and won London Marathon; not long after that 60 Save the Rhino supporters, all wearing our blue Tshirts, completed the same course. In July 2018, Eliud Kipchoge arrived at the finish line of the For Rangers Ultra and presented each of the runners with their medals. By chance we had a spare Tshirt and Eliud Kipchoge was gracious enough to sign it for us.

On 16 September 2018, Eliud Kipchoge set a new marathon world record in Berlin (02:01:39) and in October was awarded the title ‘Kenyan Person of the Year’ by the UN.

A signed print of John ‘Rhino’ Edwards

Own a limited-edition autographed digital painting of John 'Rhino' Edwards from Status Quo

Digital painting of bass guitarist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards of Status Quo printed onto premium canvas. Hand-drawn in Photoshop on an Intuos 5 drawing tablet by artist Dave Renshaw. The canvas measures 297 by 420mm (A3) and is No. 1 in a limited edition run of 50, each personally signed and numbered by John ‘Rhino’ Edwards.

Born in Chiswick, London, John Edwards learnt classical violin as a child and won a scholarship to the London College of Music at the age of 11. Around 1973-4, Edwards was to be found playing simultaneously in two pub bands in The White Bear in Hounslow (a venue renowned at that time as a music venue, where Rick Wakeman had been a regular player). Later on, he joined Judie Tzuke’s backing band, whereupon he was given the nickname ‘Rhino’ for being so clumsy.

Edwards was working with drummer Jeff Rich, when Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt approached them both to work on his solo album Recorded Delivery. When Status Quo reformed with a new line-up in 1986, Edwards and Rich were called in to replace founding member Alan Lancaster and drummer Pete Kircher. He released the album Rhino’s Revenge in 2000, on which some tracks featured other members of Status Quo.
